Completing the Building Better Job Aids Workshop. The workshop was part of the curriculum for New York’s Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Master of Science in Instructional Technology.

We help companies build a skilled workforce for tomorrow. We do this through the creation of systematically designed, easy to use, job aids and training.

Job aids may be the most important performance improvement tool at your disposal.   New employees use them as step-by-step guides.  Experienced employees use them as prompts to recall so they don't make mistakes. Job aids include help systems, checklists, learning aids, worksheets, information guides, job standards, and decision-making tools.  Your customers use them with your products and services.  Your staff can develop training faster, cheaper, and more effectively when it is supported by job aids.

In two and one-half days, we will transfer the skills needed by you or your staff to analyze, design, develop, test, and deliver effective and efficient job aids.

We have worked with
dozens of companies over the past 20 years to provide the skills needed to produce effective job aids and training.  We have also created thousands of job aids for companies. Click here for Testimonials!

Job aids won't solve every performance problem but they are one of the fastest, cheapest interventions available in your performance tool kit.

We also are not interested in providing you with an intervention that won't work.  We will always verify the need for the Building Better Job Aids Workshop™ before we will agree to train you or your staff.  We always do a diagnosis before agreeing on a remedy.  We don't want to offer you a performance intervention if it will not solve your problems.  We are interested in a long-term partnership not a quick fix workshop that doesn't work.

  • Coach you and your team to develop job aids on site in "JAM Sessions" (short for job aid makin').
  • Develop job aids and training for your organization.
